Canoe Slalom New Zealand – National Selection Races 1 & 2

The elite of New Zealand’s slalom paddlers will once again converge on Kawerau and compete in the first major race of the 2016 season.  Canoe Slalom is now establishing itself as a growing extreme sport in New Zealand and the Bay of Plenty boasts the largest level of participation in Aotearoa.  With the Olympics due in 2016, Brazil, we can expect the top paddlers to begin their preparations to represent their country and with that expect plenty of top quality competition on display.
